ARTS OF FIBER

- I have chosen to use my childhood nickname because it was the name given me as a child when I developed my interest in the fiber arts. I learned to sew at the hands of my grandmother. I learned to knit at the Baptist church when I was 8 years old. As an angry acting out adolesence at 17 yr old a girlfriend taught me to crochet and it became the motivating factor that enabled me to graduate from high school. I made my first hand bag in college and sold it for 10 dollars. It started me on the journery I now travel.
